Rising Stars: Meet Priscila Peters

Today we’d like to introduce you to Priscila Peters.

Hi Priscila, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
After completing my degree in 2002, I began my career in the hospitality industry, working to create beautiful and comfortable spaces for people to enjoy.

After moving to Denver in the spring of 2012, I realized that creating sacred spaces for people to enjoy together was my true passion. And the idea of helping people create their own places of comfort, in a meaningful way, is what led me directly to real estate. I’m a Broker Owner (Peters Colorado Realty) and have been helping sellers and buyers for the past 10 years.

However, my passion for “everything home” also led me to interior design. Today, I am Interior Designer as well, and truly ecstatic to assist my clients even further, either by staging their homes for sale, or designing their homes, so spaces are created to support and inspire them to be their best!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a small business owner, you have to wear many hats at all times. While business decisions have to be made, I intentionally focus on thriving as myself as well as a woman, a leader, and a mother. So, a life balance is tougher than I like.

I have gotten to a point now that I know when I should be taking necessary breaks from work, and practicing things that feed myself/my soul like riding a bike with my son, meditating, hiking, traveling… It’s been a learning process to reach such a balance, but it is what gives me even more motivation to keep thriving.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Through my belief that our home is our place to thrive and be our authentic selves, I want to offer the service of finding your dream home and also help you create a meaningful connection with your house.

I enthusiastically believe that spaces and home can impact and improve people’s lives, because our home is a reflection of us. Therefore, improving the space also improves you and your well-being. I can help through a design that is intentionally focused on the people and how they want to feel in connection to their homes.

Who else deserves credit for your story?
I would say that all my clients are my supporters as they have trusted me to be part of their home journey. And, my biggest motivator to succeed is my son, always!
