Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Keselburg.
Hi Rebecca, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my entrepreneurial journey because I wanted something I think a lot of women want: the ability to contribute financially while still having the freedom to be present for my family and actually have ownership of my time.
I owned a childcare business which gave me income and flexibility to be with my children. Once my children were in school full time I leveraged my time by hiring help, and I pursued building a team in a direct sales jewelry business. The desire was to replace my substantial business income and create passive income. It was during my time in direct sales that I discovered I loved to help others rise. When the jewelry business I had invested 8 years in went out of business I became a certified life coach and began mentoring other women. I created a podcast, courses, authored books and began helping others do the same.
In the beginning, I had to learn almost everything myself because I didn’t have a big budget to hire people. I invested in all of the great online business courses working with Mario Forleo, Amy Porterfield, and Jasmine Star. I learned branding, content marketing, program creation, podcasting, and all the pieces that go into turning an idea into an online business. That work eventually grew into Inspiring Your Shine and, more recently, ARISE.
Over time, I realized that what came naturally to me wasn’t just building my own business. I loved helping women discern their purpose, and create brands and programs that were authentically aligned, and then turn it into something they could capitalize on. I began helping aspiring entrepreneurs with their brands, messaging, programs, content, podcasts, and online visibility.
In ARISE, I’ve brought together everything I’ve learned through my own journey, the businesses I’ve built, and the women I’ve coached into one complete system. It supports women from the very beginning, helping them uncover what they are uniquely equipped to do, build a strong foundation, and create the business assets they need to move forward with clarity and confidence.
But I also knew that building the business was only part of the challenge. Visibility brings up fear. Growth brings up self-doubt. Playing a bigger game requires a woman to keep becoming the person who can hold what she says she wants. That is why I created the ARISE Mastermind as an ongoing layer of support.
Many women are capable of building a business. Far fewer receive the ongoing support, accountability, mindset work, and community they need to stay visible, get out of their own way, and grow into their full potential. My vision for ARISE is to create that entire ecosystem, from idea to foundation to long-term growth, so women have the support they need to build something meaningful, sustainable, and ultimately capable of creating legacy income and impact.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of my biggest struggles along the way was my own self-doubt, combined with trying to balance building a business with being present for my family. I was also figuring so much of it out on my own because I couldn’t afford to hire all the help I needed. Online business has so many moving parts, and it often felt like as soon as I figured out one piece, I was staring at the next challenge. It took me far more years than I ever imagined to put all of those pieces together.
Then, when I started working with clients, I began seeing another pattern. We could create incredible brands, programs, messaging, content, and business assets that were completely aligned with who they were, but having all of those pieces did not automatically mean they would confidently put themselves out there and grow.
Fear would show up. Self-doubt would show up. They would overthink, procrastinate, change direction, hide, or sabotage the very thing they had worked so hard to create.
That taught me that building a successful online business requires more than learning strategy or creating great assets. You also have to become the person who is willing to be seen, take risks, stay consistent, make decisions, and keep moving when fear comes up. And that kind of growth doesn’t happen because you took one class on mindset or had a few coaching sessions. It requires ongoing support.
Alignment matters too. When someone is deeply connected to who they are, what they believe, what they do best, and who they genuinely want to serve, they have a much stronger foundation to return to when doubt creeps in.
Those experiences became a huge part of why I created the ARISE ecosystem the way I did. Women need support building the business, but they also need support becoming the entrepreneur who can grow it. The ARISE Mastermind provides that ongoing coaching, accountability, and community so women aren’t trying to navigate every new level alone.
I think this is especially important for women coming out of corporate careers or other structured environments. Suddenly there is no boss, no built-in accountability, and no one telling you what needs to happen next. It becomes very easy to lose momentum or get stuck in your own head.
That is what I want the ARISE community to change. We can lean on one another, challenge one another, celebrate the wins, work through the fear, and keep rising into the women and entrepreneurs we are capable of becoming.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Yes. I’d revise the opening and closing so they reflect the deeper philosophy behind **Inspiring Your Shine** and the life-design piece behind **ARISE**.
Inspiring Your Shine was built around a belief that every person has a seed of power within them. I believe that when we live on purpose, we shine. My work is about helping people recognize what has been placed within them, activate their calling, and bring that purpose into the world in a meaningful way.
Today, I work primarily with women who want to build online businesses around their experience, expertise, gifts, and calling. Many of them are in a season of reinvention and know they are capable of more, but they need help turning what they know and who they are into something clear, aligned, and marketable.
Over the years, I have specialized in brand strategy, messaging, content marketing, program and course creation, podcasting, and online visibility. What I am probably best known for is helping women take a lot of ideas, experience, and expertise that feel scattered and turn them into a clear brand, a strong offer, and an online business that genuinely reflects who they are.
That work ultimately led me to create ARISE, which is the part of the brand I am most proud of building.
What sets ARISE apart is that it is designed as an ecosystem rather than simply a business course. I have seen, both in my own journey and in the women I have worked with, that knowing what to do is only part of the equation. You can build an incredible brand, create a great program, and have all the right business assets, but fear, self-doubt, perfectionism, and self-sabotage can still keep you from becoming visible enough to grow it.
ARISE supports women from the beginning, helping them make sure what they are building is deeply aligned with who they are, who they are called to serve, and the kind of life they actually want to create. From there, we build the foundation, positioning, offer, messaging, content, and visibility assets that allow them to move forward with confidence.
The ARISE Mastermind then provides the ongoing coaching, accountability, and community I believe women need as they grow. Becoming a successful entrepreneur is not something that happens in a few weeks. Every new level can bring up a new layer of fear, and having people around you who understand the journey can make an enormous difference.
My larger vision for ARISE is about more than helping women create income and impact. I want to help them build businesses that create freedom in their lives. That means learning how to leverage their time, create systems and assets that continue working for them, and grow without sacrificing the people and priorities that matter most.
That piece is deeply personal to me because it is one of the reasons I became an entrepreneur in the first place. I wanted meaningful work and financial contribution, but I also wanted to be fully present for my family. I believe women should be able to build something significant without feeling like success in one area requires failure in another.
Ultimately, I want ARISE to become an ecosystem where faith led women can activate their calling, build a strong and sustainable business around it, and receive the long-term support they need to rise into their full potential while creating a life they are proud of both personally and professionally.
I think this version captures the heart of the brand much better. The strongest differentiator is no longer just **“I help women build online businesses.”** It becomes **“I help women build a business around their calling in a way that supports the life they actually want to live.”**
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say resilience has been the quality most important to my success, but I think the reason I have been able to stay resilient is because I deeply believe I am living on purpose.
There have been so many times in my journey when things did not go according to plan. I have built businesses that changed, invested years into opportunities that ended, had to learn skills I could not afford to outsource, and spent far longer figuring things out than I ever expected. I have also had to work through my own self-doubt while balancing entrepreneurship with being present for my family.
What keeps getting me back up is the belief that I am here to help other women activate their calling and rise into what they are capable of. That sense of purpose has become one of my secret weapons. When things get hard, when I get stuck, or when I start questioning myself, I come back to the women I know I am here to serve. That gives me a reason to keep showing up.
I think resilience becomes much more powerful when it is connected to something bigger than your own success. For me, that is helping women recognize what is already within them, step into their purpose, and have the courage to bring it into the world.
So yes, I am resilient, but I think purpose is what fuels that resilience. It is what gets me back out there when fear or frustration could easily convince me to stay small.
