Rising Stars: Meet Regan Sample of North Metro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Regan Sample.

Hi Regan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got started by combining what I grew up around with what I was trained to do.
Real estate was the family business, so I grew up hearing the conversations, seeing the behind-the-scenes work, and understanding early on that homes are more than just properties—they’re tied to life changes and big decisions.
I later built a career in finance, which gave me a strong foundation in numbers, strategy, and long-term planning. Over time, it became clear that real estate was where those two worlds came together for me.
I transitioned into real estate to be more hands-on with clients, helping them navigate important moments with clarity and confidence. I’ve gotten to where I am today by staying client-first, educating my clients, and building relationships instead of chasing transactions. That approach—combined with my financial background and lifelong exposure to real estate—has shaped how I serve my clients today

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road.
There are a lot of things you can’t control—markets shift, the economy changes, and timing doesn’t always line up the way you hope. One of the hardest challenges is when you know a certain decision would truly help someone, but they’re not ready to take action until it’s too late. That can be tough, especially when your advice is coming from a place of genuine care.
When I first started my career in finance, I had three kids and no clients, which was a real struggle. But that experience taught me to stay focused on serving, educating, and making a difference rather than chasing outcomes.
I see the same pattern in real estate. When markets slow down or shift, clients actually need more guidance, not less—someone who’s willing to go above and beyond, explain options clearly, and help them make the best possible decision for their situation. Those challenges are what shaped how I work today

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a real estate agent specializing in helping first-time buyers and seniors navigate big life transitions with clarity and confidence. I bring a background in finance, so my clients don’t just get help finding a home—they get guidance on timing, equity, and how decisions today affect their long-term goals.
I’m known for being client-first, highly communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, especially when decisions feel overwhelming. I take an educational approach so clients feel informed and empowered, never pressured.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me—many come back years later or refer their family and friends. I’m also proud to know that I’m making a real difference in people’s lives and in the community. On a personal level, it means a lot to me that my boys are growing up seeing service as a guiding principle—something they can carry into their own lives.
What sets me apart is the combination of lifelong exposure to real estate, professional financial expertise, and a genuine focus on helping people make the best decision for their situation, not just the next transaction

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that service always comes first. When you focus on educating, listening, and doing what’s truly best for people, the business takes care of itself. Helping someone make a good decision can change their future, and modeling that kind of service is something I’m proud my kids get to see.
