Rising Stars: Meet Bk2bk Xperience

Today we introduce to you to Bk2bk xperience, as we are joined by the four founders and creators of the show — Scubi Ukpe, Sinead Marie, Sandra Irhia and Andrew Irhia.

Hello Bk2bk Xperience, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Bk2bk Xperience is a talk show where we started to discuss issues that people go through or experience in today’s society, and life in general – whether it’s within a relationship/marriage or other areas. We strive to showcase educational and entertaining videos by gathering a group of people of various ages and discussing/debating various topics. We also create a fun environment for different cast members to openly share their viewpoints.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While filming the show has been an ongoing fun experience (definitely one for the books) as it has allowed us to have a platform to express our different point of view and share it with others who tune in to our YouTube channel to support our videos, I wouldn’t say that it has completely always been a smooth road.

One of the struggles we have faced is just the consistency of filming and how often we upload. The struggle does stem from not always having consistent filming equipment, schedule, and cast members. Our goal is to, in Shortly, film more often and be more consistent with our videos post. Also, just because many people still do not even know that our show exists, we hope to promote it more so that more people are familiar with it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The show was started and created by four individuals living in the Denver area. We are all entrepreneurs who specialize in different fields, which explains our busy schedules which sometimes hinder us from always getting the chance to set aside time to film.

As a team who is, however, willing to ultimately put our best efforts forth to work on the show, Bk2bkxperience, our roles in the show are always something that we partake in together to collectively make sure that when we film, we do it well and everything goes smoothly for the day; whether it is production, managing the cast, or meals provided, social media and video posts, etc, we usually work together to make things happen.

Bk2bkxperience is known for its catchy topics, with cast members openly and honestly sharing their educative and entertaining opinions. There are no other shows in the Denver area similar to it, at least not one that we know of, so we truly believe that the show has a great chance of expanding and being more successful.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Networking and meeting different people, from different cultural backgrounds, have been helpful while filming the show. I say this because, from that, we get to have a more diverse cast who will offer different opinions shaped by their personal experiences.

My point of view might be different from the next person’s point of view, but even though that’s the case, their point of view is still worth listening to cause one never knows, you might just learn a thing or two. It’s usually beneficial when having a more diverse cast and getting to network with them because of the different opinions you get to hear regarding the different topics we discuss on the show.
