Rising Stars: Meet Socks Syrup

Today we’d like to introduce you to Socks Syrup.

Hi Socks, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I began on Pinterest by saving pictures I found cool. Then, I created an account on Instagram, TikTok, and VSCO. My Instagram began as a typical archive account similar to the well-known accounts today.

However, I have switched my content to be color-blocked and specifically featuring culture, sports, and movies/TV. My Instagram stories are part of the content too as I share new wallpapers every day.

On TikTok however, I prefer educational and art posts that are matched with a music sound to pair the vibe. I have been able to accumulate a large community there. My VSCO is now deleted but I had over 10k community on there where I posted content similar to Instagram.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is a smooth road. Figuring out engagement and activity is hard. But, I enjoy what I do most by following a consistent schedule that isn’t draining. This isn’t work for me it is something fun I get to take part in.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am most proud of the original content I can curate. My structure and style of posts compared to other archive posts is different a bit more interesting and interactive.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Consistency. Everybody can be consistent it is a matter of who will do it.
