Rising Stars: Meet Tana Ten Birdz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tana Ten Birdz.

Hi Tana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I grew up on the Eastside of Denver I’ve always loved cars and music but never had proper information or guidance to break into the fields of life I loved I went to prison in 2011 and got out of prison in 2018 determined to make my life better and make my dreams come true.

So, I created my music label Birdgang the label and my annual car show King of Colorado supershow and the Juneteenth car cruise as of 2023 have grown beyond my imagination I love music I love cars, and love motivating the youth to know they can do what I’ve done and more.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My first love and mother of my 13-year-old was killed in a domestic dispute when I first got out of prison.

I grew up in a neighborhood full of gang activity, violence, and drugs.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My stage name is Tana 10 Birdz and I am the founder of Birdgang the label.
