Rising Stars: Meet Tuneishia Harris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tuneishia Harris. 

Hi Tuneishia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started out fearful to step into my destiny. I lived my life under the vision of others and never stepped out on faith to be who I was destined to be. I fell into the societal norms of going to school, getting good grades, getting a good job so that I could have a possible 401K, and be able to retire at the mature age of 65 or higher. I followed this vision for so many years but wasn’t fulfilled. I had a breakthrough moment in 2009 when I became a bail bondswoman and started my own business. I was still working in the corporate setting but was laid off in 2010. This was the beginning of me tasting entrepreneurship and freedom. I loved it because it got me out of my comfort zone of being shy. I had to talk to people outside of my immediate family and friends. This was the beginning of learning how to build relationships. I loved helping people in the most unfortunate situations and actually, I learned not to judge someone based on assumptions. Not everyone is a criminal and even though those who have committed crimes are not bad or evil people there are backstories that lead to where they are or the situations, they are in. I am not sure if I realized then that I was maturing and growing and a true student of life. Fast forward to 2019 where I experienced five deaths in three months which took my breath away. My brother passed away in May 2019 and his death shook and changed me in such a profound way although I didn’t realize how much during that time. 2020 brought COVID-19, and I experienced more loved ones and friends passing away from it and I started looking at life differently. I realized that life can be long or short but no matter what I needed to live life to the fullest. Deciding to live life to the fullest led me to digital entrepreneurship and I absolutely love being in this space. The journey definitely comes with highs and lows, but life is full of lower lows and higher highs, but the end result/reward will be more than worth it. I wanted my then 14-year-old son to see that it is never too late to go after your dreams and do something you love with passion and purpose. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth but it has shown me how strong and tenacious I am. My job came to an end in 2020 which meant my income came to a halt as well. This was humbling because I could no longer do all the things that I once was able to do with my son. My saving was used to pay bills and looking for employment became disheartening as I was told I have everything the companies wanted but ” I am overqualified.” I was okay with taking a pay cut to make sure my bills were paid but no companies would hire me. I had to tell myself that it was not meant to be and that God has something better in-store and to hold on to my faith and do not waiver from it. In the past worry, stress, doubt, and fear would have overwhelmed me causing me to stay in that non-serving negative mindset but this time I said I may not be where I want to be but I am not where I used to be and everything will be alright. 

When we hold on to things or people who have hurt, disappointed, abused, neglected or silenced us we don’t allow ourselves to be the best version of ourselves. We have to forgive ourselves and others. This doesn’t mean you forget but it means you are not allowing the past to stop you from living life to the fullest or park at your pain. This also is not an overnight process, it will take some time but if you/we are open to healing and allowing ourselves to push past the pain and hurt the outcome will be a peaceful and positive experience. We then can help others through our testimony and message.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a mother, Model, Vocalist, Actress, and Mindset and Development Coach. I provide tools and resources to help individuals heal their hurt from the present and past in order to step into their destiny. I am also a Digital Entrepreneur as an Investor in the Foreign Exchange Market. As a mindset development coach, it is important to listen to and hear whom you are coaching. This is not about being a fixer of issues but providing the information and guidance so that proper healing of hurt and trauma can begin. Sometimes we don’t know where to start or we have been surrounded around people and environments that are not pushing or encouraging us to be the best versions of ourselves but instead celebrating running in place. I am so happy and grateful that I am impacting lives in meaningful and positive ways through empowerment and education. I listen to the hearts of people because I remember a time when I wasn’t heard or seen and the heart of me was ignored and overlooked. It can become a dark place and I am here to show that there is light and you don’t have to stay in that state of darkness. When you heal the hurt of the present and most importantly the past you take back your power. This is the beginning of stepping into your destiny. I am compassionate and understanding and I know that sets me apart from many. I understand that all of our journeys are different and having compassion shows peace from within. I am proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and allowing myself to succeed even through failures. I was afraid to fail for so many years because I believed that it was a shortcoming but as I began personally developing. healing, growing, and loving myself the right way I realized that failure is a necessity for success. You learn from failures and they show your true strength when you choose to get back up dust yourself off and get back in the ring of life again. If you fail 7 times go right back in the 8th time. Failures lead to new ways of thinking, living, creating, and growing out and the hidden secrets of life. I am so comfortable being uncomfortable and for that I am proud. I know that there is greatness inside of me and I am tapping into it and I am sharing my gifts and powerful information with others so that they too step into their greatness. The Future looks very bright!!
