Rising Stars: Meet Vincent Sliva of Denver

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Sliva

Hi Vincent, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been producing and performing music for over fifteen years in many capacities. Have recorded and released solo albums that are centered around electronic stylings, produced albums for hip hop and pop artists, remixed singles for major label artists, and written music for tv shows/commercials. Currently working on a new EP under the artist name LehtMoJoe, and working on sonic branding for several clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There are obstacles in every endeavor, a consistent challenge in the world of music is time management. Seeing projects through to completion and delivery can be challenging while maintaining a level of creative curiosity. Client projects are much easier, as direction is usually established early while solo material introduces more freedom and second guessing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have had a lot of fun working through many musical outlets over the years. Remixing official tracks for Röyksopp, Major Lazer, 311 and others, to crafting arena music cues for the NHL, shows on network television/streaming, and Djing the most random gigs. Working with indie artists and sonic branding also very rewarding, helping people and organizations turn their creative vision into a completed projected.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
I have primarily worked remotely on projects, collaborating with artists and brands, so the changes during and after Covid weren’t out of the norm for my workflow.
