Stitch Mitch’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Stitch Mitch. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Stitch , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
I have felt most loved when I was/am able to love myself. That’s the realest type of love any one deserves. “Self love”. Hence the matrix programming to avoid that.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Stitch Mitch was taught to crochet by his mother at age 12. At around age 18, he turned his art into a company/business. Trading out college for art. Now I am consistently working on annual gear. Sneakers, bags, hats.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
The matrix, duality, time, religion, fear, money

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of being awesome

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
We are what we love, not what loves us

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Smoking, self oppressing
