Let’s jump in: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Outside of spending time with my daughter having fun or what not, I always lose track of time when writing music or recording, creating fashion for my brand or for customers, art, photography and videographer, literally my day to day life.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello there! My name is Denarice Wilson also known as Gadgio CEO and founder of Papah Nerds Entertainment LLC pronounced Paper Nerds. My brand is a part of the entertainment culture being a hub to help others turn dreams into reality. Music, photography, videography, fashion, art, model & artist management and/or development, event hosting. After getting shot laying in the hospital thinking to myself I have to many talents, skills, the hustle and drive and almost died without expressing any of these God giving talents, forget the evil I did I would of went to the dark side because I wasted what was giving to me I was meant to express myself so once I got released from the hospital I got started and never looked back. I recently dropped a few hit singles “Papah Nerds” shot in Las Vegas by hip-hop legend and J.Cole Mentor ‘Nerv’ from rap duo ‘Bomm Sheltuh’. Followed by the Wu Tang inspired record “D.R.E.a.M” shot in Colorado by videographer ‘Drummond West’ ((both videos on YouTube songs on all music platforms)). As well as another video ‘ Wrong Or Right’ and Documentary called “Hustling Under The Moonlight” leading up to my album release for Hustling Under The Moonlight the album. I’m staying active with Turf Hero fashion line, being the creator behind the camera and selling art as ‘Picasso With A Kilo’ like my mom asked me to do after fighting and beating breast cancer.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Since I could remember I been a creator since elementary. First came art drawing, then poetry which turned into writing music, fashion this is what I was doing in my notebooks instead of class work stuck with and turned it into my hustle and business.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Denver East Highschool junior or senior year, the class had to write our own version of Tupac’s “Why I Cry” poem. After Ms Utsey read my poem out loud and the class was crying over the following weeks I realized my keeping it real and telling my story is what I meant to do.

People come up off just talent, and not giving up.
