Daily Inspiration: Meet Rebecca Rosen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Rosen.

Rebecca Rosen

Hi Rebecca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My spiritual journey began in 1997 as a college student struggling with depression and a debilitating sleep-eating disorder. Following months of therapy and medication, I finally, out of desperation, began to pray. On one particularly unremarkable day, while sitting in a bookstore, I felt compelled to write in my journal. That’s when my deceased Grandmother Babe answered my prayers.

I was flooded with words that I involuntarily transcribed, or channeled, not even realizing what I was writing. The handwriting was mine, but the words were my grandmother’s. Because I was skeptical, I asked for proof that what was happening was real. Grandma Babe told me three specific things she wanted me to share with my father, Grandma Babe’s son. All three turned out to be true and were things only my father and Grandma Babe could know.

For the next 18 months, Grandma Babe was my guide, giving me life lessons and even predicting specific personal events that would later come true. At the end of this time, my Grandmother told me to fulfill my life’s purpose, and ultimately help others.

My journey as a medium started with personal readings for family and friends, which were uncannily accurate. These experiences were shared with friends, and then friends of friends. Soon strangers began asking me for readings too, and I realized I had officially arrived as a professional spiritual medium.

Now, over 20 years later, my passion lies in transforming people’s lives by helping them connect to their deceased loved ones, angels, spirits, and guides through small group readings, larger audience events, and a variety of spiritual growth products and resources.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While my journey of mediumship has been an organic unfolding, it has not always been smooth sailing. I’ve experienced my fair share of resistance along the way. I encounter skepticism, if not downright cynicism, from many people not familiar with and not open to this work and me, in particular, daily.

I too, was skeptical in my earlier days, and so I have had a greater appreciation for those who struggle with believing in this supernatural phenomenon. However, 24 years later, not only do I have a strong belief in the truth of this work, but a profound knowing that it is very real indeed.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work as an evidential medium, inspired every day to demonstrate that we all can connect with Spirit, in very real and meaningful ways. I do so by delivering enough tangible evidence or proof to make it undeniable in people’s skeptical minds. I am known for making one’s experience so undeniably real, by offering the specific details from their departed loved ones that no one could know except for them, which helps to alleviate their doubt and strengthen their faith and trust that their loved ones are still with them in spirit.

While there are a lot of amazing intuitives and mediums out there doing this work, as with any profession, you will also find many who are not in integrity and give the work a bad name, either because their readings are too vague and generic, leaving one to wonder if a true connection has been made, or it feels as if information has come not through spirit but through prior research done ahead of the reading.

In either case, this further inspires me to keep showing up and doing my work in a way that helps others to see the true possibility of what it looks like to make solid, undeniable connections to the other side, which helps to deepen one’s faith and trust in the eternal nature of our souls.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Despite being in the public eye, performing on stage in front of hundreds, and constantly doing media appearances, I’m an introvert at heart. Introverts seek energy by being alone, reflecting quietly with little stimuli, and having one-on-one relationships.

I’ve had to find the balance of putting myself out there, engaging with countless people as I share my gift with the world, and carving out that solitude, quiet, alone time to regroup and recharge. Managing my energy has been a life lesson for me and one that I’m still in the process of learning.
