Today we’d like to introduce you to Breanne Elle.
Breanne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began blogging back in May 2014. I was a housewife looking for an outlet to express my life and give myself a life purpose. I had other talents that I began to explore during this time such as designing a swim line, I also was big into fitness. I went through a rough time in my life where my marriage failed and I soon lost myself in a depressed state of mind… I continued to push forward in my blog and bettering my sewing skills. I used my blog to help me heal, learn and grow as a woman.
By 2017, I had been completely separated from my ex and had to find a way to make money. My friend at the time was in town visiting. I always baked since I could remember. She was just chewing my cookies and goes, “man you have to sell this like it’s soo good I know people would come buy from you.” At that moment, I began coming up with my idea for my own bakery. I knew how crazy it seemed to my peers that I went from designing clothing to bam I have a bakery! But, that just goes to show you flexibility in your life is a must because you can dream one thing for yourself and stumble into something else. While keeping in mind that it’s okay to have multiple ideas and/or business avenues you might want to explore. LiveYBS (Yorkie’s Bake Shop-bakery & York B. St-fashion), the abbreviation for all my businesses, while implanting a visual through my business a way of life in an abstract way. I have big plans where I want to take my business, I’m just scratching the surface! Stay tuned.
Has it been a smooth road?
As I started my journey wasn’t easy at all. I was tested daily on if running my own business was for me. I would write blogs not even sure anyone cares. I would design clothes super excited to finish a design or be the only one to eat my latest baked creation. I can say to any women no matter what your goals in life are is to cheer for yourself! When you began to congratulate yourself in a humbled way, doors open for you and the journey gets easier. Also, once you do start to get the recognition you deserve, you’ll be able to enjoy it that much more because you already celebrated those small achievements.

I’m best known for my blog and being a fashion designer. I created a lifestyle blog to be fun and playful. My blog gives my followers a small look into my life, recipes I share, fitness tips, life tips, and more. I also design custom wear, specializing in gown making. I am currently in fashion school to learn how to make men’s tailored suits and add that to my collections. I believe what sets me apart from others is my relationship with God, I am nothing without the guidance I receive and believing wholeheartedly in my path. I allow God to work through me in my daily life. My passion has always been about teaching and giving helpful content to my audience. The principle behind LiveYBS will be dedicated to teaching our youth.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
I have a few women that have inspired me, but two stand out. The first is my biggest supporter, as well as a source for my inspiration, and that is grandmother. She taught me to live freely, unapologetically in my truth. I have a close girlfriend of mine who we’ve been friends for seven years now and she inspires and motivates me daily! She’s a boss babe for real. When I get down and need a pick me up she is always there with the best advice. She is selfless, which I aspire to be with my friends, family and even my followers. We can truly learn from each other in a positive way if we all could drop our egos.
