Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalya King.
Natalya, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Around 8th grade, my mom decided that she wanted us as a family to go all organic. I was completely against it and it was a big adjustment. I started seeing and feeling the benefits and from there I was a believer. I got obsessed with holistic remedies and DIY YouTube videos. In high school, I was breaking out like crazy and decided to make my skin care products! From there I saw a huge change in my skin! It was healthier and healed quickly! In college, I had my son and was using store bought products. It makes him break out so bad so I stopped using everything and made all of the products for him. To his butt cream and baby wipes! My son’s skin completely healed and he has never had eczema or a diaper rash ever again. I started making things for my college professors and advisors! The word got around and I started making things for teachers and students. I had my friends over and would text all of my products on them! Lol, they were my test subjects! The beautiful thing is everything I made was earth based! I am self-taught in everything when it comes to what I do. My mom was also a nurse so naturally, I learned a lot from her. She is who I look up to the most! I graduated from college and used all of my graduation money and put it ALL into my business! I was sooooo nervous! I had two grand opening one for friends and family and the other for the general public. People loved my products and the word spread. I receive lots of before and after pictures and those do great on social media! And from there is just been about connecting and helping people with some skin issues they may have! 💙
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is ever smooth! Your mentality has to be greater than your circumstance! So I stayed optimism and was very intentional with what I put into the universe! The first two months of my business I did not sleep at ALL! I was breastfeeding and my son was not trying to let me wean him! Haha also just me being so young! I was 22 at the time so there was a lot of pressure and learning curve I had to keep up with!

BodyLove by Tal is a company specializing in hand-crafted and customizable organic and all natural Earth Based face, body, and hair products. Our vision is to create chemical-free, non-toxic and preservative free products with the highest quality organic and all-natural ingredients while teaching and educating our consumers through our interactive and Do It Yourself model promoting the importance of positivity, self-love, and self-care.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I feel as though the mindset is so important! And being fearless! Just going for it! Being optimistic is key!
