Check Out Gretchen Pleshaw’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Gretchen Pleshaw.

Hi Gretchen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always felt that I wanted a unique life and job (one that I was truly excited to live).

However, it didn’t happen right away, and it took a lot of time and effort. I did, indeed, create my dream reality. I am a radio dj/host on The LIFT FM (KKCH, KIFT, and KIDN) and also a Television host on Channel 92 Tv8 Good Morning Vail.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road getting to where I am now, but I truly wouldn’t change a thing (not to sound too cliche). I have learned so much along the way.

You really have to believe in yourself and keep your eye on the prize as far as your dream career is concerned, and just know that you will be knocked down a few times and pick yourself back up again and continue forward.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a radio and television host in Vail, Colorado. I truly am excited to do what I do for work every single day. I love talking about songs and artists on the radio (it truly sparks joy). I also have always been a people person and loved people so it is really fun to work as a tv host on tv.

I feel like the most positive attitude is what I am known for. I am really proud of the various charities that I have been able to raise money for from my platform, from radio, TV, and modeling. I am also really proud that I haven’t become a hard person in this industry (that can sometimes make people that way).

What were you like growing up?
I have always been a really happy person. I try to find the beauty and joy in every situation. That is something that I will never change in myself. I am really into anything outdoors: hiking, camping, skiing, and just being in nature.

I am obsessed with my three rescue dogs: Gypsy, Bali, and Pa’Ani. I love reading and writing and am really into watching movies and talking about them after. I love going to film festivals around the world as well.
