
Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Bernagozzi.
Hi Taylor, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started baking when I was a little girl. I grew up baking with my grandma, mom, sister and brother for special occasions. When I was a teenager, my friends and I would bake together and I would say that was when my passion grew and I knew I wanted to learn more. I went to culinary school while in high school for a few months, where I learned a few fundamentals to cooking and baking. I loved what I learned and decided to go to college for my degree in Nutrition. Part of my nutrition degree included cooking classes and learning more techniques for the kitchen. As far as my baking goes, I have been mostly self-taught other than the techniques and fundamentals I learned while in school. I am always interested to learn and grow with my baking, and I love trying out new techniques. I love that I get to be creative and artistic with my orders and I hope to continue to learn and grow with my techniques as the years go on.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can say it has been a pretty smooth road. There are always struggles and difficulties that come with baking. It is a learning process, but I have been able to learn and grow so much over the years.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a custom baker and I make treats for all special occasions such as baby showers, gender reveals and announcements, birthdays, smash cakes, bridal showers, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and holiday festivities. I make all kinds of threats which include: cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate-covered treats, cookies, cookie cakes, decorated sugar cookies, and some of the favorite trends such as paint your own cookies, decorate your own kits, and hot chocolate bombs! Any item can be made for any occasion. I have a wide range of flavors and combinations, and I am always exploring to find new fun flavors!
