Today we’d like to introduce you to Jules Grieve.
Hi Jules, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started building the concept for Raising Roots LLC in 2014 and from a place of fear that I would lead my son to live as I currently was. His due date was January 1st, 2015 and I was acutely aware that he could feel my anxiety and hear my distress about his arrival in every way. Back then, I only knew how to carry a facade from sun up to sun down just to survive the interactions with people and the workload that came with each day. I woke up dreading the day so much that I easily became numb, cold, drone-like, and mundane to everyone that was attempting to get closer to me, especially his father! However, the moment I found out that he (a new, untainted form of human life) was about to be following me around eagerly duplicating everything I did and said from a place of genuine and passionate love for everything that made me, me, well, obviously, it became imperative to me that I find a way out of that darkness and lead from a place of love.
In the end, it was me interning under my three sons and daughter that helped me unfold more fulfilling, freeing ways to live that now have me where I am today. Emotionally, physically, cognitively, spiritually, you name it, they taught it and in seven key focal areas of my life: education, health, home care, family, finances, relationships, and pursuits. From Maslow’s hierarchy of needs required to survive to Hill’s thirteen principles of success to thrive, they taught it. Little did I know, intentionally playing, exploring, learning, and serving alongside them would have me conducting experiments in my own life in which each failed trial would help me to uproot what was not growing from a place of love and, instead, develop what was originally woven within me to operate from. My children revealed to me the immeasurable value behind the growth journey of a single human life. I hate to think where I would be today if I didn’t discover the significance of my growth journey and overall story.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. And that’s the point. I am intrigued at every turn knowing it is all going to channel into my growth. It’s important to realize that growing pains exist day and night and long after adolescence and in not just the body, but in both the mind and soul, too.
In this phase of my growth, my toughest challenges reside within my daily work to expand my intelligence in patience and efficiency, willpower and self-confidence, communication and relationship building skills.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
You should know that there is a route out of the darkness you may find yourself in.
I help people find their route out of darkness and back into light by reigniting their childlike selves through personal growth and development strategies that might not have been thought of or used before.
I am known for passionately pursuing personal growth as young children do.
What sets me apart from others is the amount of time I’ve revolved around kids: roughly ninety-six thousand hours and counting.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of my efforts to create more tools and resources to better recognize, comprehend, and value the beautiful and bewildering growth behind a single human life and the powerfully positive cooperative capabilities of them; ultimately, working to intensify the fire of love and light moving across the globe.
What I want readers to know about my brand, offerings and services is first, that I intend to forever seek out ways to continue my work internationally speaking, training, publishing, and hosting events centered around this concept of pursuing child-like growth here in this adult ‘hood.’ Second, my main focus right now is expanding the program, “Growth Freedom” which highlights the significance of an individual’s growth journey. For parents I have a program called “Got Kids?” For marriages, “ProMarriage,” for finances, “Radicals,” for women, “Feminine Kicks.” My last two programs highlight the significance of the growth journey in health and relationships.
I look forward to building an even larger community on fire for growth especially through a developing app that I believe will connect us closer together and make tangible a culture of people who choose to think, see, be, do, and interact with the world in entirely different ways.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I get waves of incredibly powerful, positive feelings every time I do the same fun things I remember my mom and dad doing for me- things like playing baseball in the backyard, going to get a burger and shake altogether, and heading up to the mountains for a picnic lunch.
