Conversations with the Inspiring Amy Newman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Newman.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Amy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m a devoted wife for 15 years, loving Mom of two beautiful daughters, and an educator, mentor, facilitator in helping people find financial wealth through the buy and sell of real estate.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’m a firm believer that if you listen and watch for signs the universe will guide you down the right path, and I’m truly traveling down the road that was meant for me. Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love having the opportunity to positively affect people every day while helping them build long-term financial wealth through real estate.

My advice to any younger woman out there starting her journey is to stay strong, positive, and confident. Continue to educate yourself, find a mentor to learn from, journal daily, meditate, take time for yourself, and continue to step outside your comfort zone and try something new. Don’t become stagnant, push forward and make a difference.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Realtor® at Live.Laugh.Denver, Real Estate Group story. Tell us more about it.
I’m a proud Realtor® helping people buy and sell real estate in and around the Denver area. My husband and I because homeowners when we were in our mid-20’s. It has been the best investment we have put our money into. I love helping people buy and sell real estate… investing in their future. Real Estate is one of the best, if not the very best way to create long-term financial wealth for the future.

Three years ago I created The WIRE (Women Investing in Real Estate). After the 2016 presidential election, I was emotionally touched and motivated when I witnessed women coming together and lifting each other up… sharing a voice and standing up for what they believed in. I wanted to continue this movement by helping educate, motivate, and inspire women to become more financially sound through real estate.

Knowledge is power and education is liberating. The WIRE was created to give women the knowledge and confidence to buy their first home, invest in investment properties, improve their credit scores, learn about loan options, create additional cash flow, and pay off debt. These are just a few ways that I continue to help women empower themselves and grow financially through real estate.

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
My parents have always been a huge factor in my success. They both played a large role, being role models to me in various ways of my life. My Mom’s love, affection, and guidance make me the loving wife and Mom that I am today. My Dad’s will for adventure and never-give-up attitude pushes me every day to make a difference, power through the challenges, and celebrate the accomplishments.
