Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Page.

Bailey, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up with tubs and tubs of opi polish. My grandma was a nail tech and I absolutely loved painting nails and getting my nails painted. It was always something I prioritized for myself and when the opportunity came to make a job out of it, I hopped on it!

Has it been a smooth road?
There’s always struggles to start your own business, especially in this industry. If you have the will, there is a way and everyone has to start somewhere. Stay persistent and always prioritize your clients, they’ll stick with you through the tough stuff.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I am a nail tech that focuses on bespoke nail art and natural nail health. I am most proud of the fact I was able to be self-employed and thriving within six months of being a licensed nail tech, and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing women who see me month after month and lift me up and encourage me to follow my own path. I work out of a private space with my two pups making a super relaxing, warm, and safe space for my clients. I value each and every relationship I make and truly put my heart into every set of nails I create.

Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
Find your people! Find others in the same industry, and the same boat and get in together! In this field constant education is key so seek it out. As far as networking, I let my work speak for itself. I am such a homebody/introvert in real life, I am lucky that networking has happened organically through social media and my clients spreading the word.
