Conversations with the Inspiring Katie Ezzeddine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Ezzeddine.

Katie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
For over 17 years now, I’ve worked in a number of industries, from San Francisco’s finest restaurants to some of the most prestigious names in fashion and beauty. In 2007 I embraced a unique entrepreneurial calling, founding and managing several successful service and beauty related businesses. Not only have I learned a great deal, but I’ve also developed a unique inside perspective on what it takes for new businesses to succeed. In 2018 I relocated to Denver and started Amuse Media Group.

Amuse Media Group, is a social media marketing company with an emphasis on the hospitality and restaurant industries.  Our name is derived from the term “Amuse Bouche” which literally translates to “mouth amuser”. Our goal is to showcase the skills of our clients’ craft. We highlight the chefs’ culinary skills while providing our audience with visually appealing and mouth-watering content.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Every startup has their growing pains, especially in a new city. Learning about Denver and rebuilding my network was definitely the most difficult. At times you wonder if what you are doing is meaningful and if there is a need. Those are the times you must focus on your goals and remember why you started. Strengthen your resolve.

What should we know about Amuse Media Group? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our core strength is the customer experience. In this digital age, most of society is basing their decisions on reviews and photos. Reviews and photos are everywhere, but they don’t always incite the emotion or vision of our Chefs.  We want customers to “feel” our clients’ brand before they ever step into the restaurant.

Do you have a lesson or advice you’d like to share with young women just starting out?
I’ve been fortunate to experience both success and failure in my career.  I think the failures are more valuable.  The key is to keep your head up and always move forward.  It’s easy to get dismayed.  No one succeeds by giving up.
