Conversations with the Inspiring Kia Marilyn Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kia Marilyn Jones.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Bright blessings soul seeds, I am the daughter of cosmic love and healer of Mother Earth.

I’m an educated multicultural woman full of passion to heal the collective with earthbound elements, supreme consciousness and source energy. As an Afro indigenous woman, I embrace my blackness with beauty and activism.

I believe holistic communication will shift the paradigms of disconnect.

Currently a senior at the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a major Broadcasting in television and radio. Minoring with motion media. In the process of publishing my podcast “Witch Wellness” on magic and spellcraft.

My YouTube channel is growing with proactive engagement, subscribe at Kia Jones – ya girl will pop up talking Santeria and Crystals.

I’ve got an IG page known as @sistarhealer_ for my movement of holistic wellness and being.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Balance. That is the biggest challenge. It is truly up to my higher spirit to check my ego and remind myself that I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

Dating becomes a distraction when you allow others to control your actions and reactions. I constantly have to let go of energy that doesn’t serve my higher spirit, even when I don’t want to let go. It’s necessary for growth. That’s why we are here on earth in these bodies, to experience and experiment.

If I could give any advice to other women:
Listen to your intuition and trust yourself. Always choose to date and love yourself first. You’ll feel great if you breathe, have patience and manifest.

Imagination plus visualization equals manifestation.

What should we know about Sistar Healer? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I work two jobs while attending college! I’m serving at longhorn steakhouse and representing radio stations FLO 107.1 & JAMMIN 101.5 as a promotions assistant,

I’m a community healer and activist!

Monthly events known as “sistar circles” are hosted by me regarding social reform, holistic health and community development.

I have a podcast, YouTube channel and IG page dedicated to defining the movement of holistic wellness for Sistar Healers.

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
I grew up broke and poor but improv and imagination were vital tools for my siblings and I.
Materialistic values aren’t a priority for me. I value memories, energy and existence at the moment.
Thank you ma and pop.
My parents were amazing with teaching lessons of creativity, independence and exploration.
I remember living in Anchorage, AL which is where I had my first experience of spirituality.
