Conversations with the Inspiring Stephanie Onuffer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Onuffer.

Stephanie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I began uploading videos to YouTube as a fun side hobby when I was in 7th grade. Throughout the years, it became more serious, and now I see youtube and fashion blogging as a future. A few months ago I also started a fashion based Instagram. Fashion, beauty, and lifestyle have always been something I have loved and its amazing being an influencer and sharing my thoughts about fashion and beauty with others.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Growing a platform or any business, in general, is tough. There have been and still, are times I feel like quitting because things were growing slow or not at all. But my passion for what I love keeps me going and encourages me to never give up. Everything takes commitment, hard work, and time. As long as you work hard and commit to your business or in my case my YouTube channel and other social media platforms, and give it time the obstacles can and will be overcome.

So let’s switch gears a bit and discuss your social media work. What kind of content are you creating and what’s the mission or drive at the heart of all of this hard work?
I am a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle YouTuber and Instagram blogger. I mostly know for fashion, beauty and lifestyle videos on YouTube, and fashion photos/blogging on Instagram. I’m most proud of making genuine content. I like to give my genuine opinions and advice about fashion and beauty on YouTube. I also love to help others with tips about my lifestyle etc. Its amazing to help others. I believe what sets me apart from others is I genuinely love to help others on YouTube with the videos I make. I don’t do it for fame or money but because I like to make video and help others while doing it.

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
My parents are both from Russia. They emigrated to the USA in their 20s. Because of the harsh conditions they had to grow up in they weren’t able to go to college. They also weren’t able to accomplish their dreams because of that. Because of that, when I was growing up and to this day they encourage me to do what I love and to strive to accomplish my dreams. This definitely played a huge role in my success. If it wasn’t for their unconditional support, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
