Conversations with Jennifer Gniadecki

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Gniadecki.

Hi Jennifer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Well first, I started out completely destroying my mom’s 24 color eyeshadow palette when I was six lol no seriously! But I’ve always had a huge love for makeup. I was late to my own prom because I wanted to do a bunch of girl’s makeup who I went to school with. I remember one of them starting to cry and she said, “I’ve never looked so pretty!” I was like girl, don’t cry I’m going to have to re-do your makeup haha!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Struggles I would say is the makeup world in general. It’s not an easy place to be and I feel like I am extremely outgoing so I just want everyone to get along and be friends with everyone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I feel like I can recreate any look. I especially love Halloween time and I love a challenge!

What were you like growing up?
Well my dad says rebellious, strong-headed and with a loving heart and my mom says inquisitive, determined, creative, adventurous, free spirit, entrepreneur, bold, caring, funny. Loved to draw pictures in a tree. Haha! So I’ll go with that.
