Conversations with Andrew Sanders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Sanders.

Hi Andrew, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Bliss Company Yoga started with one person and a mat — and a vision to bring yoga out of the studio and into everyday spaces like apartment communities, hotels, and resorts across Colorado. What makes Bliss different is the experience — each class is themed, creative, and designed to spark connection and joy. From 70s Yoga and Candlelight Flow to Yoga & Brunch, every event blends movement, mindfulness, and community in a way that feels fresh and meaningful.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most small businesses, we started from the ground up — with no big team, no investors, just passion and persistence. There were moments of uncertainty, slow seasons, and plenty of learning curves when it came to marketing, outreach, and building trust with new communities.

But every challenge taught us something valuable. We learned how to adapt, how to keep showing up, and how to turn obstacles into opportunities. Those early struggles shaped the heart of Bliss Company — resilience, creativity, and a genuine love for bringing people together through mindfulness and movement.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Bliss Company Yoga is known for its creative, themed experiences that make wellness feel approachable and fun. Classes like 70s Yoga, Candlelight Flow, and Yoga & Brunch turn traditional yoga into something people look forward to — an experience, not just a workout.

We’re most proud of the sense of connection that grows from each event. What sets us apart is how we blend mindfulness, movement, and creativity to make every class feel personal, memorable, and full of good energy.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important qualities behind our success are being people-oriented and always willing to learn. Building genuine relationships is at the heart of what we do — connecting with communities, managers, and students on a personal level. At the same time, staying open to learning keeps us growing. Whether it’s refining classes, exploring new wellness trends, or improving how we communicate, that curiosity and adaptability have helped Bliss Company continue to evolve and thrive.
