Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabelle Anderson
Hi Isabelle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Isabelle Anderson, I’m an XR (Extended Reality) Designer for Deloitte within the Pursuit Center of Excellence, CEO of Wandersstudios, Executive Media Producer for Collective Festival Management, Virtual Reality Animator, Muralist, and 360 Videographer. I work remotely and have been traveling the country while pursuing my love for design. I enjoy spending my time in nature, attending music festivals, and eating vegan food with my friends and family.
While working at Deloitte, I am using my XR knowledge to help innovate the pursuit process. I am proud to be a part of the largest professional services firm that continues to set the standard for design.
I recently registered my business Wandersstudios, a traveling studio based out of my van where I produce virtual reality experiences, 360 video, murals, and social media content.
Collective Festival Management is an international network of festivals, promoters, and influencers. As a part of the Executive Team, I produce engaging social media content, represent the brand, and help organize events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When working with cutting edge technology, there will always be challenges. That’s the price to pay to create something truly innovative. The way that I have overcome these set backs is by expanding my network within the community I hope to design for. I’ve been able to work through technology errors by asking as many questions as possible. By learning from each other, doors are opened for conversation for valuable collaboration. You never know what may come from a connection!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Wandersstudios consists of my four main creative outlets: virtual reality, 360 video, murals, and social media content.
My virtual reality work includes hand drawn animated experiences created in the VR program Quill. Painting in 3D space on an infinite canvas has opened up an entirely new creative world. I am especially proud of the music video I created for the song “Outerspace” by Joey Gx, as well as the 8 minute narrative experience I created for the Society for Protection and Care of Children, entitled “Our Compass”.
My 360 video work mostly consists of collaborations with festivals, musicians and social media accounts to provide unique and compelling experiences for their viewers.
My mural work has been inspired by my virtual reality work and often revolves around nature and animals. The intention is to create spaces that feel alive.
My social media work consists of video production and 2D animation to help brands grow online and increase consumer sales.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I attribute much of my success to my ability to connect with others. Empathy is required in order to be a good designer. This means listening to client’s needs and navigating road blocks. Through taking an empathetic approach, I strive to put myself in the shoes of others to expand my perspective and create the best possible experiences for them. Networking has also been the best way to secure new opportunities. I am constantly learning from those around me. Surrounding myself with other motivated creatives has been an integral part of my journey.
