Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonnie Singleton.
Bonnie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Pollinate Marketing in 2016 as a side hustle to my corporate job. After working in corporate restaurants & destination marketing and seeing how large businesses utilized large budgets, I became passionate about translating those strategies to local businesses. In 2019 I officially started to focus on my business full-time, helping restaurants and local businesses through the pandemic and beyond has been such an honor.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think that every small business owner knows that it isn’t going to be smooth sailing. From managing a team to revenue dips and the pandemic – there have been plenty of challenges. I pride myself on being flexible enough to weather the storm while also sticking to strategies I know work, both when it comes to marketing as well as being a CEO.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Pollinate Marketing became known for our social media services, but where we really shine is when we’re able to work across all online platforms. We specialize in creating a consistent, unique brand voice that resonates with our client’s ideal customers – calling to who they are above what they want to buy.
Aside from results, receive the most compliments on our client experience – we pride ourselves on being extended team members of our clients’ businesses and understanding their operational and business needs in addition to the marketing side of things.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I would say that persistence and integrity have worked side by side to get us to where we are. Having the strength to keep going even when times are tough, and to work from a place of authenticity have allowed us to build relationships and overcome obstacles along the way.
