Today we’d like to introduce you to Caelan Beach.
Hi Caelan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started working out at the age of 15 lifting weights, while I was in my high school soccer career. I realized how much I loved strength training and this invigorated a passion in me that I knew could be a career someday, I just wasn’t sure when.
Flash forward 6 years later, I got my ACE certification in personal training, and I began to pursue that initial dream I had been holding onto. I always knew I wanted to serve and give back to my community and what better way than to combine my passion of strength training with that!
I started out working at the highlands ranch community association rec centers, which gave me a great intro to personal training as well as a few other gyms. I wanted to expand and target a different market while also always wanting to learn entrepreneurship, and shortly after this I stumbled upon Boldt Athletics, and the owner, Russell Baron.
I started leasing the space to my clients so we would have a private unique space to train, and from there, I created Arvada Strength & Power!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been an amazing journey so far, but not a smooth road to say the least! I had to learn what it was like to leave a W2 job, to find my own clients, to deliver value every single day no matter how I feel and to ensure everyone is making progress.
The biggest challenge in personal training is the highs and the lows and the volatility that comes along with this, whether that’s clients needing to take extended time off for family issues or traveling on peak holiday seasons. What I learned is that patience and gratitude are the most important lessons through all of this.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Arvada Strength & Power ?
At Arvada Strength & Power, I specialize in providing the most one on one bespoke personal training experience to every client I work with. What sets me apart from other training gyms is that I aim to deliver the maximum value and to make sure everyone I help not only progresses, but also feels cared for in all aspects of our time together in the gym. I aim to build lasting client relationships that motivate and inspire both within and outside the training session while also making sure everyone I help is constantly progressing!
The unique private space where I train coupled with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains makes the experience even more tailored as there is no waiting for equipment, and a serene Mountain View of the Rockies.
I cater to all ages but specifically busy men and women 30 and up, with an emphasis on middle age. This demographic benefits an incredible amount from strength training because their bone density is starting to deteriorate as they age, and to add years on to their life and extend it as they age, it is imperative to learn how to strength train in a healthy and safe way. I provide every client with a straight shot to progress that makes sense, while answering all their questions along the way. I specialize in making sure clients look and feel their absolute best to take on whatever passions they have in life; whether that’s climbing a 14er, doing a powerlifting meet, an iron man or having a backcountry powder day, my training allows everyone I help to dominate what they love.
I cater to all ages, skill levels, exercise capabilities and populations.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I was born and raised in Denver Colorado. I love Denver, specifically the amazing weather, the mountain backdrops and constant sunlight, the health and fitness culture and the nightlife.
Denver is rapidly expanding, and because of this, traffic is getting congested and areas are getting developed that were once untouched. Still, this city is amazing and I will always call it home.
