Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Han.
Hi Lily, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
From Homegrown Hustle to Fulfillment Powerhouse: The Story of Anna Snow LLC/BabyLuck
I came to the U.S. from China in 2014, navigating a new language and culture while building a life with my husband and newborn daughter, Anna Snow. What began as a simple home business—selling baby products—quickly grew into a thriving fulfillment and distribution company. Today, Anna Snow LLC serves businesses across the nation, and our journey is just getting started.
When I first arrived, I knew some English, but quickly discovered that language was only one piece of adapting to a new country. Understanding social cues, building relationships, and learning how business worked here was an entirely different challenge. Everything felt unfamiliar, but I was determined to create something meaningful for our future. While my husband pursued his Ph.D., I embraced motherhood, and with the birth of our first daughter, Anna Snow, came a deep sense of hope and inspiration. That’s where our original brand name, BabyLuck, came from—the belief that something lucky and full of promise had just begun.
I started simply, buying and reselling items I personally used and loved for my own family: baby clothes, accessories, snacks, and toys. Orders picked up quickly. Soon, the first floor of our home, our basement and garage were filled with shelves of products and packing materials. I hired a small team of two to three people to help, and delivery drivers began stopping by daily to pick up outgoing packages. I was essentially running a small fulfillment center from home. As the pandemic approached and order volume surged, it became clear we needed more space. That’s when we made the leap to purchase our warehouse. It was a major milestone and marked the true beginning of Anna Snow LLC.
Today, what began in my garage has grown into a certified woman-owned small business. We now employ 10 to 15 people and operate a full-service warehouse in Colorado Springs. Our services have expanded beyond e-commerce to include wholesale distribution and public procurement. For our educational and governmental procurement services, we focus on providing food distribution, commissary & institutional goods, cleaning & maintenance supplies, and office & educational supplies.
What hasn’t changed is our foundation. Every order is still packed with the same level of care and thoughtfulness I had when I was shipping products from my kitchen table. I’m proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about where we’re going. We are exploring new sourcing partnerships, receiving mentorships from industry leaders, and continuing to grow with intention and purpose. My journey hasn’t always been easy. But it’s taught me that hard work, heart, and a little bit of “baby luck” can take you farther than you ever imagined.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been difficult to learn where to go, who to ask for help, and learning to stand out on my own. Coming from a different culture all together, learning to do business with no experience has been tough. I am disadvantaged in many ways like language barrier, non-business management background, cultural differences, being woman owned, and having limited capital but have found strength in my differences.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
