Hi Brooke, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi I’m Brooke, owner of Olive Avenue Interiors! I’m a lover of all things design and decor related and seriously love what I do and all the hard work that comes with it. I always knew I’d own a business one day and now here we are. It all started when my mom would bring me along shopping for the newest and latest trends in decor and design. She was always redecorating and doing projects around the house, I was always her side kick making suggestions as an 8 year old just wanting to be apart of all the fun. As a I got older between the ages 12 to 18 the obsession for interior design grew. I always planned out my knew projects and had a journal full of design concepts in the making. I often woke my parents up late at night moving my bedroom around or doing a new DIY project in the garage, making another mess I’d typically never clean up.
I think every birthday I changed the style of my room. I had a system, come up with what colors I wanted, what style, what textures what finishes and then draw up a plan and execute the design.
After years of designing and decorating for free for friends and family I decided to launch Olive Avenue Interiors. Ive never been happier. I am welcomed into peoples homes and get to learn about their creative style, and get to help them elevate and transform their space into something out of a magazine.
I’m constantly finding new fun ways to improve and to make my business talked about and loved.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Its never completely smooth, theres always a learning curve. Thats part of the fun. You will 100% fall on your face when owning a business and you will fall more than once.
The key is to keep going brush it off and learn from your mistakes. Always take the steps to do better and be the best you can be.

We offer all kinds of services ranging from simple restyles, color and finish selection, staging, and home decorating/design. We can do a simple pillow selection or a whole kitchen concept, and the best part is we work will all kinds of budgets!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I have the thank my friends and family for this one. I have had endless support. They are always cheering me on from the sidelines, and picking me up when I fall on my face. I have had endless help and I don’t think it would have been possible with out that support.
