Hi Kimberly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been nannying for over six years now and I have taken care of many infants during that time. But just two years ago, while nannying for one of my past families, I noticed when doing bottle feedings for their three months old that I was really uncomfortable when it came to my back and arm. I searched everywhere online for something and couldn’t find anything that would help. So that’s when I decided to make my own. After doing research on if my product would be something that others would want. I moved forward with starting Mama Llama and the Chase pillow.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It started off very smooth and once we gained momentum in getting everything ready for launch there were a few bumps in the road. We had trouble with getting product in time due to COVID. But other than that, I would say it has been pretty smooth so far.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I started Mama Llama to make products that would make life a little bit easier for moms, dads, and caregivers. Our first product to launch is the Chase pillow. The Chase pillow provides the ultimate back and arm support when breastfeeding or bottle feeding baby. We also have a detachable platform pillow that brings baby closer to mom’s chest when breastfeeding. What sets us apart from other pillows is that we have a true back support pillow and also arm support. We also use GOTS certified wool in our pillows that come from a small farm in Bulgaria. I am most proud of the high-quality product I was able to produce. I made sure that our fabric is and wool had a sustainable attributes. I want readers to know that I have put my all into the Mama Llama brand and I want people to give the Chase pillow a chance to provide comfort in their homes. Since we are a new company gaining people’s trust is high on our list.
