Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Christina Cline

Christina Cline shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Christina, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Not every step has to look like a path. Sometimes it’s full of curves, pauses or detours that can feel like you’re wandering. But I don’t call it wandering, I call it collecting scars, stories and truths along the way. Every twist or turn feeds the bigger journey, gathering pieces of wisdom and experience that shape who I am and where I’m going.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Meet Christina – Storyteller for the Wild Hearts and Tender Souls
I am a Colorado based photographer with a gift for capturing the unpolished beauty of life. My work is not about stiff poses or absolutely perfect frames – It’s about the wind in your hair, the laughter between breaths, the quiet moments that feel like they belong to only you. With a style rooted in authenticity and emotion, I photograph love, family, and milestones in a way that feels dreamy/ethereal, emotive and deeply human. I believe the real magic lies in the fleeting, imperfect moments.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child I believed that growing up meant letting go of the magic… that in adulthood it would be all rules, responsibilities, and routine. But what I have discovered is that the magic never really leaves. It just shifts. Now I find it in the small, ordinary moments: the way the light filters through the trees, the laughter of my daughter, the raw beauty of a fleeting glance between two people in love. The magic is still here, it just wears a different cloak.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one thing to my younger self, it would be this: don’t be afraid to lean into your creativity. That spark you feel isn’t something to hide – it’s a gift! Nurture it, trust it, and let it lead you. One day it will grow into something bigger than you could ever imagine and will not only bring you joy but those around you.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
I think a lot of smart people get it wrong by overlooking the everyday. We’re so focused on achievements and the next big milestone that we forget to fall in love with the small things: the warmth of a cup of coffee on a brisk fall morning, the way the light shifts through the window, the laughter that fills the house on a Saturday morning. Life isn’t just about the grand moments; it’s about romanticizing the little ones too. That’s where the real beauty lives.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
For years, I walked the path I thought I was supposed to – caring for others in the nursing field. While it held purpose, it slowly drained my peace and my light. Choosing creativity was like choosing breath. Photography as shown me what I was born to do: to hold onto the fleeting, to freeze memories that will outlive the moment, to tell stories for the wild hearts and tender souls like me. This isn’t just work – it’s who I am.
