Josiah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
NeckJuice by J_geee is a brand that literally was created inside of 10’x10′ storage unit back in 2017. Homeless and down on luck at the time, I began working as a personal assistant to a local fashion designer, GoldenDiva Designs. During my time with Goldie, she inspired me to follow my aspirations in life and with her encouragement, I started what is now a very popular custom bowtie line for both men and women u like anything you would expect to see in a fashion accessory line. I am self-taught, self-motivated and determined to become all that I am destined to become… all the while adding a touch of #Juice to everyone’s lives.

Has it been a smooth road?
My journey thus far has seen just as many downs as it has ups. I’m sure I speak for every entrepreneur when I say that the first several years starting out are very challenging. There have been nights where I contemplated walking away. Trying to decide if the highs were worth the lows. The key is to never stop trying. Roll with the punches, take every challenge as an opportunity to grow and strengthen your knowledge.. and take it day by day. If you’re driven and you work hard, it will pay off, regardless of any obstacle that crosses your path.

Who have you been inspired by?
The single mother that works day in and day out to provide for her children without complaining. The woman who carries you in her arms and teaches you how to walk and stand on your own two feet. The “superwoman” who tackles every obstacle that life has in store without an ounce of fear in her heart. My mother, who raised twin boys on her own, putting her own life and dreams on hold so that we might be able to chase ours. I love you, Mama.
