Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Moore.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Taylor. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always been interested in fashion, traveling, and photography. I used to scroll through Instagram and Pinterest looking at photos of fashion and travel bloggers for inspiration until I got the idea that I should start my own blog. My blog is a mix of travel, fashion and daily lifestyle. While my blog is currently a side job, I would love to turn it into a full-time job and travel the world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I started blogging in a time where there’s a plethora of fashion and travel bloggers already in the industry and even more starting their own blogging journeys so being able to stand out and trying to create unique content has been a struggle for me as a new blogger. I’m always trying to create unique and cool content or trying to put a new spin on content that’s already been done. My advice to anyone starting out is that this journey won’t be easy and you won’t find fame overnight. However, if it’s worth it to you, this job is so much fun and has to lead me to push myself creatively and helped me meet new people as well! It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I started taylormoorelifestyle.com to blog about my travel journeys and give advice on traveling, fashion and daily lifestyle. My goal is to share my journey and hope that I can inspire young girls to step out of their comfort zone and travel the world! I also have an Etsy shop called WorldTravelsPhoto, that sells my nature photography prints from my world Travels!

I think what sets me apart is my authenticity. I always give my honest opinions about my experiences with the places I’ve been and the clothes I’ve worn. I try to be as transparent as possible while providing humor and real-life experiences. I find that this helps me connect more to my audience and I never want to promote something I don’t believe in which allows my readers to trust me.

There’s a wealth of academic research that suggests that a lack of mentors and networking opportunities for women has materially affected the number of women in leadership roles. Smart organizations and industry leaders are working to change this, but in the meantime, do you have any advice for finding a mentor and building a network?
I would just say if there’s someone whom you follow that you find inspirational, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for advice. You never know what great words of wisdom they might have for you or doors that you may open. It could lead to amazing collaborations and even friendships, which is a great part of succeeding on social media.
