Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Tandoh.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I got inspired a few years ago when I was a manager at a bank to become my own boss. I loved the idea to be able to travel any time without the limitation of approved time off and being able to serve as a minister of God full time. I have been able to successfully do that for over three years.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Of course, it hasn’t t been easy but it has been worth it. Most business owners will say the uncertainty of a steady paycheck can be challenging but I love that I get to create my own income based on how much time and effort I put in. It is simply a blessing and the rough patches are a perfect opportunity to become the best version of me.
Please tell us about Jantis Event Center.
We are an event venue that host events from weddings to baby showers. We are popularly known for hosting quinceaneras and being one stop shop for all event needs.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would have taken the step of faith of being a business owner years ago but challenges from prior years have humbled me to always be grateful and thankful.
