Meet Addie Pitre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Addie Pitre.

Addie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up not really knowing what my gifts were or what my purpose was. I always loved to sing, but would never share my singing voice with anyone but myself. I always deemed myself “shy” and never liked to be the center of attention… in fact, being the center of attention was actually my nightmare!

I ended up at LSU as an aspiring Veterinarian. I realized within two weeks, that was definitely not the path for me. I ended up changing majors multiple times over the next two years until I finally dropped out of college. Right before moving to Austin, TX eight years ago, I visited Denver for the first time for a three day music festival. Lo and behold, my first night in Colorado at Red Rocks, I met the love of my life and ended up moving to Denver a year later to be with him. We just celebrated seven years of love in March 2020!

Upon moving to Colorado, my personal development journey really began. A month in, while at a local blues festival in the middle of the Berkley neighborhood, I found myself harmonizing with the band, and for the first time in my life, my voice sounded great to me. Shortly after, I began practicing Aerial Silks and discovered a passion for dance.

Over the next several years, I realized I actually have many incredible gifts and have become quite the multi-faceted entrepreneur! I created a successful jewelry business called Flower Fairy Designs, established myself as an Aerial Performance Artist and Instructor under the name Addie MoonFlower, have collaborated with musical artists, and built a coaching business focused on assisting others in falling in love with who they are. Throughout all that I do, the underlying thread is a deep desire to empower others and help them uncover the many gifts within.

Has it been a smooth road?
We always wish the road would be as smooth and as easeful as possible. As hard as it has been at times, I have truly grown to see the challenge as an opportunity to grow, expand and discover what I am capable of. Personal Development can be really uncomfortable, and we tend to avoid it out of fear of what we might discover about ourselves. I’ve healed trauma, forgave myself and others, and did a lot of work to have the mindset I have today.

I actually worked in the restaurant & bar industry for ten years, and just four years ago, I quit to solely pursue my entrepreneurial endeavors. It was extremely exciting, and I felt like I was trusting myself again for the first time in a very long time. Just a few months after I quit my job, on August 21, 2017, my beloved had a fatal crash while flying his paramotor. We were told if he arrived at the hospital even moments later, he would not have made it. We spent the next five weeks in the hospital in and out of surgeries, and months later in recovery at home.

I am still so incredibly grateful that I was able to put everything aside to be at his side, and I am forever appreciative for the love and support we received from our families and community. The fact that he lived, and with the exception of some scars, my beloved is stronger and more capable than he has ever been in every single way. Through this experience, I truly witnessed the power of miracles and was able to discover strength and empowerment I had yet to see within myself.

Just as I showed up for my partner, he continues to show up for me. Stepping into a career as a Soul-Activation Coach and pursuing solely my. Passions for a living has been one of the most rewarding and one of the hardest experiences of my life. When I lose faith in myself, he helps me come back to my power. When I’m doubting my ability to create the life and career I desire, he helps me believe in myself again. He truly saw me before I was able to see myself. Our love is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
Myself, my magic and all my gifts are my business. I am a multi-faceted creatrix here on a mission to empower as many souls as possible to pave their own way to a life and career they are wildly in love with! In all that I do, I deeply desire to help others fall in love with the magic of who they are so that they may share their authentic gifts and purpose with the world! I believe that the variety and uniqueness of what I do set me apart from others. I believe that we don’t have to pick one thing in order to be successful. I believe that our many gifts are meant to fuel us, uplift us and support us while simultaneously positively impacting the world because we are doing what we were born to do.

The goal of my jewelry creations has always been to help others feel truly beautiful in their skin. I sing a channeled blessing to each creation, dedicating it to whom it is for and filling it with love and intention. Teaching and performing Aerial & Circus Arts allows me to share the gift of empowerment and trust in oneself. I absolutely love inspiring others to discover what they and their bodies are capable of through this art form. Thanks to aerial silks, I am physically stronger than I’ve ever been, I show myself that fear is simply an illusion, and with determination, I can be absolutely anything.

Through my Soul-Activation Coaching, I work one on one with clients and have multiple group programs that I run throughout the year. I assist others in deep emotional healing and in connecting with their soul. I help others to shatter old paradigms and old stories of who they are and what they are capable of. I guide my clients in moving through obstacles in a way that allows them to discover true strength that has been within them all along. My clients emerge empowered, connected to their magic, in tune with their desires and their vision, and overflowing with radiance and trust in themselves and their ability to create anything they dream of. I believe that we are here on this planet at this time to remember who we are as the limitless creators of our lives.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love about Denver is the variety! Incredible music, amazing events, delicious food, powerful community, and outdoor activities from hiking to hot springs are literally at our fingertips. Everything is available to us here. And after seven years, this Louisiana girl is still fascinated by snow! I’ve also found the most loving and supportive group of friends I’ve ever had in my life. Moving here was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

What I like least is going downtown on the weekends. I let go of typical bars and clubs years ago because I no longer resonate with that kind of party scene. Luckily, there are incredible places popping up, like Honey Elixir Bar in the RiNo district, that offer elevated elixirs and encourage consciousness & responsibility with alcohol consumption.
