Meet Alonzo Velasquez of G.Industries/DabGear

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alonzo Velasquez.

Alonzo, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Alonzo Velasquez born April 20, 1993 in Denver Co, found inspiration growing up around street art & creative minds throughout Colorado, It all started with an old desktop computer, playing around with various programs like “Paint” & “EJay Music Maker” that had brought out the curiosity for creativity. Memories of making beats & instrumentals putting together shapes & patterns to make unique designs for branding lead into learning graphics design, engineering and business education.

A few years later, came up with business ideas and plans to execute & it all turned into “G-Industries” Products & Apparel Company with extra services including Music, Video and Art Production + more. We started doing promotions and going to cannabis & music related events and stumbled upon the ever growing Cannabis industry in the midst of its expansion & saw huge opportunities to be a part of it all. So, with our beginning R&D and many years of experience, Alonzo had come up with a new invention/design to bring out into the world! Then with some help and a little motivation “DabGear Products” came to life! DabGear is a functional glass/quarts pendant that allows anyone to be able to use for quick and easy #DabsOnTheGo & with all of the positive feedback & instant reactions of everyone we had shown in the first couple of weeks let us know we had something great & unique. We now run multiple businesses & brands that bring out artist’s creativity so that we can all get a piece of the pie! With DabGear Products we try to involve other unique artists & creatives throughout the glass, art, fashion & music industry to bring one of a kind creations to life & also to bring awareness to the impact it all brings to the community.

Has it been a smooth road?
There have always been self-doubts & complications with finding the right materials ect. but with all the help and motivation from friends and family we’ve managed to maintain and recently we have been blessed to meet more and more artists and people who support us & we’re super excited to announce that we will soon be starting to host DabGear Customer Appreciation parties to bring together the community to get to know each other better & find different brands & products that may be the next best thing!

Here at G-Industries we strive to be a huge impact in the community by bringing awareness to other local Artists, Brands, & Businesses. We pride ourselves in creating opportunities for anyone who thought making their dream or goal happen would be impossible. It’s always refreshing to see another individual or group of entrepreneurs succeed we are a unique company because we believe there are enough resources available for everyone to win & we are always happy just to be a part of someone’s growth as well as our own!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
With all the attention we are starting to receive, we plan to take everything to the next level and put together a strong team of people dedicated to representing the G-Industries/DabGear Brand & hopefully we will be able to help as many Artists & Creatives as possible to leave behind original artwork & crazy collaborations that may inspire future generations to make the world a better place for people to grow.
