Meet Anastacia Juarez of Anastacia Jewelry in West Colfax

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastacia Juarez.

Anastacia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started making jewelry about five years ago. I had been collecting crystals and gemstones for a while, and I was inspired to create with them. I began experimenting with simple wire wrapping, making gemstone pendants for my friends, family, and pets. I had no expectation of selling anything I made or having a jewelry business, I just wanted to explore my creativity and see what I could come up with. I haven’t stopped exploring since. I have found a true passion for creating jewelry and it brings me so much joy to share what I create with other people.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Shifting from having a hobby to a business has been a huge learning experience. The biggest challenge has been balancing creating with marketing, social media, and selling online since I am doing everything myself. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m working on it every day.

Anastacia Jewelry – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I handcraft copper jewelry with natural gemstones. I create primarily in copper because of its natural healing properties. Copper is also a powerful conductor, amplifying the properties of any gemstone it is paired with. I have found a deep love and appreciation for copper throughout the years I have been working with it. I hope to share that love with others through my work. The pieces of jewelry that I create are meant to be beautiful adornments that are also beneficial to the wellness of the owner. Everything I make is one of a kind. My work is constantly evolving and changing, as I am always learning new things and experimenting with different styles.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is when someone finds a piece of jewelry of mine that they love and cherish. If I can continue to do what I love the most, and also be supported by it, I will consider myself very successful.
