Meet Atiyana Vazquez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Atiyana Vazquez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Atiyana. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started modeling when I was 4/5 years old. I tried venturing out and did dancing and cheerleading for the Denver Broncos Junior Cheerleaders. After a few years, I realized how much I missed modeling. I begged my mom for almost a year. Then, when I was nine years old. My mom took me to a few different agencies around Denver. Eventually being signed to Donna Baldwin, Whilamena and now currently with NTX|Modeling. In January 2019, marked one year, I started modeling full time. Modeling has blessed me meeting so many amazing photographers, makeup artist, and my favorite new friends. It is such a tight community and everyone is so supportive. Modeling has blessed me with many opportunities and being able to see and visit new places. I’ve been to New York and California, Walked in Denver fashion week two years in a row. Now, I am excited to see what this year holds for me.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not always been easy. I have been turned down. A lot. But it has made me stronger and helped build my self-esteem. There have been different photographers and different brands I’ve always wanted to model for and have been turned away. But I know that the future holds big things for me and I’m so eager and excited to see what it is.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am extremely cultured. I love my heritage and background. I currently am a print and runway model. I want to get into acting. I’m most proud of in such a small amount of time being able to accomplish all I have within a years time. I couldn’t have done any of this without such an amazing support system. My parents and grandparents are amazing. What sets me apart? I keep pushing. I’m persistent. I have a goal and I strive until those goals are met.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Not necessarily, but I would love to be a pioneer. To make Denver a known place for the fashion and modeling industry.`
