Meet Ben Martch of NewLeaf Brands in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Martch.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ben. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I graduated from Colorado State University in 2007, majoring in Merchandising and Marketing. Beginning in 2009, I worked multiple positions among dispensary groups throughout Colorado, including the Marketing Director of Lightshade & General Manager of three Frosted Leaf dispensary locations. I also produced Denver’s first cannabis concert event named SMOKEDOWN with performances from Method Man & Redman at the Ogden Theatre in Denver.

I recognized an opportunity in the cannabis industry through my experience with the dispensaries & concert industry, which led me to start a digital marketing agency, Iris Inc. Our clientele included Redbull, NATIV Hotel, Hightimes, AEG Presents, Mad Decent Block Party, NEFF Headwear, Leafly, Charter Jet Set, Bacardi, Modelo and many more.

During that time I simultaneously produced a variety of cannabis-focused events and festivals. Several of these events include; “Three A Light” Book Launch Event with Kymani Marley and Redman; CannaBase, a cannabis wholesale application launch event featuring, TJ Miller; and the iconic 420 Rally which has been held since it’s origin in 2014, in downtown Denver. I was an Executive Producer in the production of the annual 420 Rally, drawing 80,000+ enthusiasts per year, in addition, to live performance from Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, 2Chainz, Rick Ross, BOB, Wyclef and more. I also produced some of Denver’s yearly top seasonal events; ColoWeen, Denver’s Halloween party and the long-established NYE event, Resolution. Each of these high-end events sold out yearly at a 2,000 person capacity.

Currently, I am the Chief Marketing Officer & Director of NewLeaf Brands, Inc which is a hemp/CBD focused publicly-traded company. Under NewLeaf Brands, Inc we have 4 CBD companies which include We Are Kured, LLC, ReLyfe Brands, LLC, Drink Fresh Water, LLC, and TeaLief Brand LLC. NewLeaf Brands, Inc also has multiple cannabis properties throughout Oregon USA. 2020 is going to be a great year for us and I am excited about the future of NewLeaf Brands, Inc!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always ups and downs in business and life, but I continued to surround myself with honest and hardworking people which makes obstacles easier to overcome.

NewLeaf Brands, Inc is a publicly-traded CBD company that focuses on brand development, manufacturing, and distribution. We deal in both full-spectrum CBD and THC free CBD depending on the brand. We are unique because, under one umbrella company, we operate four different CBD brands that offer different products.
