Meet Cassy Newitt of Naked Aesthetics in Baker Neighborhood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassy Newitt.

Cassy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always loved the beauty industry, and being an esthetician allows me to make a living while making people feel beautiful. After my schooling here in Denver (School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics, highly recommend!), I wanted to experience all kinds of work, but I always knew no matter what I was doing, I wanted to be my own boss. Naked Aesthetics was my side hustle at first. Just brow waxes! It quickly turned into my passion and path, reaching my goal and now I am my own boss!

Has it been a smooth road?
Anything worth having is never easily obtained! Of course, there have been bad days, setbacks, and the occasional meltdown but what entrepreneur hasn’t experienced that? Struggles are normal, that’s what makes business ownership so exciting and rewarding.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’m a Colorado native, born in Fruita and I’ve lived in Denver for six years now. What’s not to like? I could go on and on about how much I love this beautiful place we call home! One of my ALL TIME favorite things about Denver is the street art, especially in the RiNo District! The only thing I dislike… i-25.
