Meet Christie Woolard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christie Woolard.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my insurance journey 15 years prior beginning with handling auto claims. I quickly learned the art of killing people with kindness as claims tend to ruin everyone’s day. I moved on to marketing and partnered with agents to take care of families through life insurance and retirement.

After many years on the corporate side and two kiddos later, I was ready to take the leap and become an agency owner. I was blessed with a fantastic opportunity to acquire a longtime agency to love on the current clients and build an empire from there.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Overall, I can’t complain. The biggest challenges tend to be finding the right people to hire and grow the agency alongside me. Being a business owner is the most rewarding and exciting career choice I have ever made. Everything has its challenges, but when it’s all yours, it makes it much easier to take the good with the bad.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Christine Woolard Agency story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner, specializing in auto/home/business/life/retirement. I am most passionate about making sure people have family protection in place and their hopes and dreams continue regardless of what life brings to the table. I believe my heart sets me apart from others, people are my passion. I love to hear their stories and partner to do what I can to help them grow as well.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t know that I think luck has played a large part in where I am. I was raised by a very driven mother and a lover of a father, between the two, it made me work hard to get where I want and love life and those in it with me along the way.
