Meet Cody Stiner of Dream Big Work Late in Golden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Stiner.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Cody. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My name is Cody Stiner, I decided seven years ago I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Have you ever had everything you thought you needed in life and yet you were still unfulfilled. Even with a nice house, nice car, and a job that pays well. That was me! But the little voice in my head and heart was telling me, let go of the superficial materialistic things in my life, faith and GOD willbless my life. December 19, 2013, was the day, I packed three backpacks a kooler of red-bull and I shut the door to my house for the last time and said fuck it, I am going to San Diego I am parking my FJ cruiser at the beach and I will wait until GOD shows up in my life and shows me the answer…

For the next 12 months I lived in my car, sleeping in the front seat, every night my legs would fill up with fluid because I was unable to lay down and stretch out. I was living on bread and beef jerky! Literally… I found a job as a surf instructor, I had no idea how to surf, I snowboard we live in the Rockies! I watched the famous movie from 1991 Point Break the surfing lesson I watched over 100 times, I was the worst surfer, but I was the number 1 recommended surf instructor, everyone loved me. I had reviews on yelp about me! My self-awareness kicked in, I have this ability to make people have fun I connect very well with anyone I come into contact with and I can put a smile on your face. I am telling you this because, 12 months into my spiritual journey using the ocean, surfing, and my faith to cleanse my mind, body and spirit.

One night I was looking up at the sky like I always have a million times, this time was different. I was looking up and GOD came to me touched me on the shoulder and in a blink of an eye, I saw my entire future laid out before me, A clear picture of who I can become, my confidence, courage taking me to places I never dreamed of. The greatest blessing in my life. The very next day I said goodbye to everyone, drove 18 hours straight balling my eyes out with tears of joy. I will never forget that car ride home, I spent the next 6 1/2 years living at my parent’s house, I never went back to corporate America, instead, I became an author, Brand ambassador, I took my camera with me when I left for San Diego filming every moment for seven years. I designed and created my own clothing line called Dream BIG Work Late.

Also, the official Dream BIG Work Late box set for entrepreneurs. Also, a documentary reality show you could call it, I upload content weekly to YouTube. A person who decided to give it everything he has to fulfilling the dream, Even if I had to swallow my pride, I also am an aspiring motivational speaker, and I run two successful businesses and I am moving to Tahiti in a few months.

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not. Even today it is not a smooth road. Just because GOD showed me my path, my potential and greatness! When you decide to give it everything you got, For anyone reading this, When you believe in your destiny, you are going to lose friends, family members, those closest to you will think your crazy. Closing old doors making way for new ones in my life, I had to isolate myself in my mom’s garage, I hardly ever go out. I focus all my attention on my dream. Witch has made me have multiple break downs, crying like a little girl on the cold garage floor, spending thousands of hours working on projects or ideas I thought would be the answer and failing over and over again.

What is important looking back is what I learned along the way as I failed, I was not failing I was learning what does and does not work. I have broken my whiteboard hanging on my wall multiple times. But through all the sacrifice and pain GOD was with me every day. And I knew if I prayed and prayed eventually I would make it, And is it worth it? I would do it all over again. Go after your dreams. The philosophy I believe and my brand name Dream BIG Work Late.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Dream Big Work Late story. Tell us more about your work.
My rand is Dream BIG Work Late, I specialize in coaching people how to create more freedom, abundance, a healthy and wealthy lifestyle. Travel the world as I do and step into greatness. I wrote a book you can pick up at Barnes and Noble called Build Your Own Belief, As an aspiring motivational speaker, through social media, everyone knows me best for my positive guidance, high energy and enthusiasm for life and faith.

I am most proud of myself for taking the focus off me and I planned for an entire year I took my family to Tahiti last year for 30 days, An adventure I always wanted to come true. Traveling with my Mom, Pops and little brother, And now my little brother is getting married in March to a Tahitian princess of the island. I will be moving to Tahiti at the end of this year.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Speaking live on stage in front of 25,000 people, inspiring and relating to others out there on the grind and have sacrificed so much or need a little kick in the butt I am that friend will help you along the way. People around the world rocking my brand wearing my hats and t-shirts. Ten thousand subscribers on YouTube. My content my videos and voice can impact the world in a positive way before I leave this earth.
