Meet Cooper Kaminsky

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cooper Kaminsky.

Cooper, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My story begins eight years ago, in New Orleans. I was a musician and actor attending college in Boston when I went out to visit New Orleans for the first time. It was there that I had my very first tarot reading, and it changed my life. The content was fantastic, but sitting there- being fully immersed in the experience was life changing. It felt like something clicked. A fire that had been quiet for lifetimes was re-ignited. The very next day, my first tarot deck found me in the back of a conjure shop in the French Quarter and I cracked open the cards and began learning that afternoon… I haven’t turned back since. After some time in my craft, I quickly realized that I needed to pursue a spiritual vocation, as well as a creative one. So, I began integrating spiritual work into my life of the arts.

Cut to the present day, and I have been reading tarot professionally and doing psychic work for the last 6+ years. I have taught workshops in Denver on Tarot, Queer Magick, Empath development, and have facilitated ceremonies within the incredibly inclusive and warm Denver witch community. I am constantly seeking new ways to expand my horizons and show up for Spirit. I received my Reiki level 1 and 2 degrees over the last two years, and currently my practice focuses on healing patterns our soul experiences in this lifetime and beyond.

Has it been a smooth road?
I firmly believe that when we are aligned with our own Spirit, the path unfolds and the way is shown. It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but it has been a richly nourishing one. My path hasn’t always led to where I EXPECT, but it has always led exactly where I NEED it to.

The biggest struggle was towards the beginning- being able to trust myself with this work took a lot of courage, and a lot of getting out of my own head. Especially since our culture doesn’t always prioritize spirituality, and the intuitive arts. In my years as a working intuitive and diviner, I am seeing that narrative shift a LOT. And I think that is mostly due to us entering an era where compassion, empathy, and healing are excellent medicines for the madness and density we are experiencing in the collective present.

Please tell us about your business.
In my work, I offer both Intuitive readings and energy healing work. I love to work small events, parties, and gatherings, but the “meat and potatoes” of my work happens in my one on one sessions. I offer heart-centered spiritual guidance and healing work with clarity, and intention. I work with the poetics of your present to help connect you to your constantly evolving soul-level path.

My intuitive readings draw upon insight from Tarot, Kabbalah, The Akashic Records, messages from Spirit, and additional energy that YOU bring into our space. I am a certified Reiki Practitioner, and my energy work is integrative and geared towards healing patterns of the self and alleviating daily tension so you can live and operate to your fullest, most badass vibrant potential.

What sets me apart from others, may be my experience and work in The Akashic Records. This is your soul’s “book of life” energy, and as a keeper of the records I assist in opening and exploring your soul’s Akashic imprint and how it affects and informs your actions and experiences in the present.

Also- I try to keep it real! There’s no use getting a reading or a healing session that is just fluff and saccharine positivity. In my sessions, I help you show up for yourself in the most authentic way possible. I should add that my work is inclusive, queer friendly, and holistic to self. I carry a warm, diverse, and judgement free approach to my sessions with every one of my clients.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Denver is incredible! It continues to be a thriving place with an excellent quality of life. It’s really special being a part of how the city breathes and shifts. I think it is SO amazing to see how much art and culture, and spirituality is being cultivated in our Queen City.

Dislikes? Hmm. I have seen it get more expensive over the years. Also, I think we forget that we are still a baby city compared to a place like NYC or Boston- and we are still imprinting Denver with a unique sense of spirit.
