Meet Daniel Brown of Kaydee Savoy in Aurora

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Brown.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Daniel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
In 2015 I started working in Comcast’s social media department. After spending about a year in the department, I decided to return to school to complete my business degree. While taking classes at the University of Colorado at Denver, I understood the true benefit of using my expertise in social media, towards marketing for local businesses. The realization became apparent after discovering that companies were able to reach much larger audiences utilizing marketing online as opposed to advertising at a higher cost on television.

Due to my social media background, friends with small businesses began asking how to expand their brands online and ways to market their businesses using my assistance. The significant success my friends achieved from my advice was the nudge I needed to pursue this line of business. I’ve centered my business around transparency customers can appreciate. For example, I always inform clients of social practices they can do themselves, before having to pay for my time. Clients appreciate my honesty, and love that I can provide them with solutions. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and the long-lasting relationships that I build with my clients. I feel that it is not always just about selling them services.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
If someone told me their business was successful with no struggles I would be the first to call bullsh*t! Honestly, I don’t believe I would have preferred a smooth road in running my business. I appreciate the struggles I’ve endured. The struggles with getting my business known within the metropolitan area have had its hills and valleys.

The biggest obstacle was getting the word out that Kaydee Savoy genuinely provides value to small & medium-size businesses. Many businesses either viewed digital marketing as too expensive, or it does not work for their business. In many cases with my clients, I’ve proven to them, when someone is really invested in improving their visibility, the value of digital marketing can work for any business.

Please tell us about Kaydee Savoy. What should we know?
Kaydee Savoy doesn’t specialize in one service, but all digital services. We’re a full-service digital marketing agency. I believe clients shouldn’t have to go to more than one location for digital services. In many cases, companies will have different companies providing different digital services for them at the same time. I’ve often seen projects run into issues when dealing with more than one company. SEO projects often run into delays trying to reach out to the web development team, or social teams being hindered due to not being properly aligned with the team responsible for the PPC campaign. All of these hurdles usually lead to failure because of the timeframe it takes to contact other companies to acquire assistance. Kaydee Savoy eliminates these delays and hurdles by having all the services under one umbrella.

I often hear that you have to niche down your expertise to properly provide services to companies, but I believe that marketing is marketing. It doesn’t matter what your industry is. I’m extremely proud that I can solve a company’s problem with online marketing. This sets Kaydee Savoy apart from other agencies because we honestly focus on a company’s problem and provide them a solution.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I personally feel it is important to listen to the client and focus on solving their problem, and not just try to sell them a service. So many marketing companies today say they want to help a client but really are only out to sell a product. I don’t have a problem telling a client that a popular service may not be needed for their business.

Selling you tier packages isn’t what Kaydee Savoy is about. This cookie-cutter approach often misses the issue the client is experiencing. I would prefer to provide your business with a unique solution that is customary to your issue. Honesty, listening and providing customization to clients are essential qualities for success.
