Today we’d like to introduce you to Dhiana and Davyn Kho.
Dhiana and Davyn, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
For as long as I can remember, I have always had a deep love for coffee. Grabbing a cup of coffee on a gloomy day was such a treat, now it’s part of my occupation. When we were first in the beginning stages of opening Doppio Coffee, the coffee scene in Denver wasn’t as big as it is now. I wanted to open up a shop that allowed people to appreciate coffee as much as I do.
Has it been a smooth road?
Like any other new business, we’ve faced obstacles that we’ve had to overcome, but we’ve been lucky enough to have been able to start strong with a great team.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Doppio Coffee story. Tell us more about the business.
Doppio Coffee specializes in making perfectly crafted coffee. Our team pays close attention to every detail and aspect of the coffee creation process. One of our favorite things to do is collaborate with one another in creating fun and new drinks. We’re known for our fun and creative seasonal menus that feature the delicious notes of the different coffees and the flavors that are a result of collaboration within our team. Rather than making Doppio Coffee solely about coffee, we pride ourselves in love for community and values of inclusivity. We are more than a coffee shop, but a place of gathering where people can enjoy the company of others while sipping good coffee and eating scrumptious foods.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the future, the only thing we look to do is improving ourselves as a team and as a shop, whether that may mean changing things up, learning new brewing methods, or creating more relationships between customers and staff. We are always looking for new ways to spice up our drinks and service!
