Today we’d like to introduce you to Debbie Raday.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Debbie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Always been an athlete. After getting married and having children I really started getting into weight training. In my 30’s I struck an interest in getting on stage for body building, but I was had such stage fright that I couldn’t bring myself to do it. In 2013 my husband and son decided to do a bodybuilding competition and I was extremely jealous. That same year my daughter did her first show. I figured it was my turn. In 2014 I finally got on stage actually three times that year. Year to date I have done 15 shows and just received by pro card.
I want to inspire all of those people that don’t think they can do it. Whether it is a bodybuilding show, weight loss. strength training, or just life. We can do anything we put our minds to. We need to build habits and consistency. We own a medical clinic and a personal training studio. We are here to help individuals get back on track with their health.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. You have to work at it, You have to remind yourself every day of why you do it. this is a lifestyle, Getting on stage I think is my biggest struggle. One reason I do competitions is it gets me out of my shell, it challenges me.
