Meet Delinda Fatianow of Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar in Highlands Ranch, Golden & Centennial

Today we’d like to introduce you to Delinda Fatianow.

Delinda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My husband and I opened our first restaurant – Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar in Highlands Ranch in October 2008. We saw that there was a need in the community for a cool and hip new restaurant concept in the Highlands Ranch area. We were very fortunate to have made it through the recession at that time and opened a second location May 2012 in downtown Golden. We have done very well at our Golden location especially with all of the tourists that come to Golden in the summer months. In October 2018 we opened our 3rd location at the Streets of SouthGlenn in Centennial. We were having a record year in 2020 but then we had to close due to Covid-19 on March 17, 2020. We knew we had to figure something out quickly so that we could survive this economic downturn. In one day, we completely changed our business model to sell groceries. This change has literally saved our business. We have all of our grocery items that we are now selling listed on our website – www.indulgewinebar.com. We are working very hard to be able t0 re-open as soon as we are allowed to do so.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. As I mentioned, we opened a brandnew concept right during the recession on 2008 and had to figure out how to cut all expenses and really manage the business so that we could survive. We worked extremely hard, basically lived at the restaurant during that time. We have had lots of challenges along the way. Then Covid-19 shut down our businesses. Another challenge but again we figured out a way to survive.

Please tell us about your business.
Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar is a locally owned and operated full service restaurant and wine bar. We opened our first restaurant concept in October 2008 without having any previous restaurant experience and we now have four restaurants in the Denver area. We are so happy to provide residents with a cool, fun, hip place to gather with friends and family. Our staff at each of our locations is amazing and they have so many regular customers that come in to see them. We are very proud of the staff we have at each of our locations.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I was born and raised in the Denver area. I love our city and all of the wonderful outdoor activities that it has to offer. I love the varied seasons.
Since so many people have now discovered our lovely city, the traffic now is what I like least about Denver.
