Today we’d like to introduce you to Deontay Galbreath.
Deontay, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
90’s influenced artist on a mission to make “bars” mean something in hip hop again. Mixing in his real-life experiences and lyrical capabilities with a smooth delivery very refreshing flow, Mane provides a smooth balance of new and old school hip hop. Flow has been working on his craft for a little over seven years and has remained unknown but aims to flood the media world with professional and classic content.
Has it been a smooth road?
Anything good never comes easy, and as I’ve learned it also never comes cheap. Music has always been pretty smooth and hearing a freshly finished product feels like the most rewarding moment ever.
Please tell us more about your music. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
For right now I specialize in writing and performing my music, I also have started making beats and I also plan on engineering in the very near future. My brand is Fresh Crew aka F.A.M and what sets us apart is that we all have our sights set on more than just being a “rapper”. Whether it’s filming, shooting photos, recording, we plan to do it all.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I don’t believe in luck, I believe there are opportunities you make for yourself and the ones that were made for you.
