Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Aden.

Greg, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
30 years in hospitality including five years of financial services experience. In 2013 I resigned from IHG to start my own leadership firm. The root reason was knowing I was meant to stand for something more important the franchise development. Although I was making a great living, I was three years into a great marriage and we adopted one son and created another all in 15 months. Long story. Aden Leadership, focused on servant leadership principles, was created to help leaders become better leaders in all phases of their lives. I serve all industries but have Focus primarily on hospitality, financial services in healthcare.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a smooth road for the most part but like any new coaching and consulting firm it takes a few years to gain significant traction. 2019 was a great year and 2020 had promised up until about March 15th.

Aden Leadership – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The focus of Aden Leadership is to help leaders become better leaders. I Empower each and every client to grow and help strengthen their teams and ultimately help serve the organizations with culture and vision. Everything is geared towards helping the men and women I work with to be more intentional around their language, behavior and relationships. I do this using a set of principles of integrity, accountability, courage, passion and humility.

I am most proud of the organizations and I have joined since initiating Aden Leadership and leadership positions I’ve taken in these organizations such as ICF-Colorado, Jessie’s heart foundation and Strategic connections which is part of Colorado Thought leaders Forum.

What sets me apart is my uncanny way to challenge people to see a new possibility for growth and also how do you become a better leader I looking in the near. I am not for the faint of heart as my work requires self-reflection, awareness and chewy assessing where are you are in a true desire to be a better leader.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
