Today we’d like to introduce you to Heath Soderstrom.

Heath, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It was a snowy Christmas, in Best Buy. My job was to sign up new customers for Direct TV. There was nobody in the store. So I reached out on my Facebook account, Does anyone want to switch from Comcast to Direct TV. I had two people reply and signed up that night. I realized that night, nine years ago, Social Media has selling power. On the advice of Gary Vee; Get a client! Serves them! And get another. Start your own business and stop following me. So I did! July 2017 I started Big Sexy Media Marketing Advertising.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I recently wanted to trash everything about my business. Then I remembered the story “3 Feet from Gold.” How could I stop believing in myself. So I restructured my pricing to reflect my own value. Found new avenues for my business to thrive. It feels like starting over but I couldn’t give up on myself. I had to stand up and fight for it.

Pleae tell us about Big Sexy MediaMarketingAdvertising. What should we know?
BSMMA is a social media management company. We specialize in; Personalized Content Creation, Organic Growth, Consistent Advertising, and Social Collaboration. We are known for the passion in doing our best. Keeping our word and becoming consistent in content generation. Leading to momentum equaling profits. Working hand in hand with Business Owners, to producing a social media community rich with opportunity.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
First, my great friend and first client Andrew Malkoski. He is a Real Estate Agent in Denver. He took a chance with me and has never been afraid to attempt new ideas when it comes to Social Media.

Second would be Jim “Doc” Weathers. From the beginning of our friendship and managing his Social Media, he has been nothing but supportive.

Finally, my wife, Brade! She has been my love and biggest supporter. She does everything in her power to help me in my business and life. Without her, I would have finished this project years ago.
