Meet Jon Robichaud and Craig Sweeney of iKOR Labs in Boulder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jon Robichaud and Craig Sweeney.

Jon and Craig, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
iKOR started with an idea to sell the benefits of CBD to athletes. A few years back and even today, there isn’t a lot of direct marketing and selling of CBD to athletes specifically.

We’ve been able to get to where we are today through our longterm relationships with many of the athletes we support, who are friends. The quality of the product and our authenticity in the space has also allowed us to move ahead of some earlier brands.

Has it been a smooth road?
A smooth road? No, it’s been the direct opposite. The road we’ve been on seems to have more twists and turns than we expected in previous startups. Some of the roadblocks and hurdles have been centered around banking issues, credit card processors and a lack of early adoption from sports specialty retailers.

iKOR Labs produces the world’s best recovery products that utilize CBD as an active ingredient. We specialize in formulating products that contain natural anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant ingredients that work holistically with CBD to provide the best results. We are known for our revolutionary Recovery Shot, which is our plant-based version of ibuprofen.

We’re proud of our ability to be creative and resourceful in times of need. There are many times in the early stages of starting iKOR that we could have given up when all of our banking issues arose, but we buckled down and found ways to make it work. Our holistic approach to using CBD as an active ingredient and doing scientific research to validate the use benefits of our products is what sets up lightyears ahead of others.

What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?
Our future is uncertain like most peoples. We are working on items that will continue to push the envelope in creating superior products that have scientific backing. As for changes, we don’t see many at the moment. Maybe a pivot to something that still serves a purpose for the products and the user, but outside of our endurance sports heritage.
